Built on our property, but far enough away to preserve your intimacy, la Vie de Cocagne has only one goal : becoming your proper home for a week-end, a week or your holidays, without having to manage all the tasks and expenses of a second home.
Come and share a simple and true way of living in all seasons : long walks on the beach or in the countryside, shopping in local markets for food or antiques, discovering the area, tasting great food and Calvados, cooking for friends…
Probably built in the 18th century, the house is a former half-timbered stable and untill recently a barn for our donkeys and horse.
Entirely renovated in 2007, it is now a comfortable cottage, with wide open windows which give on to the surrounding fields.
Wanting to give you the spirit of home, we have decorated with family furniture, Farrow and Ball paints and addedd contemporary interiors, (stainless steel appliances, flat screen television, hifi, wifi ...).
